07 Feb Build Resiliency to Stress: Mindfulness for Teens!
What is mindfulness & why is it important?
Teens are stressed. Managing stress can be challenging for all humans. Managing stress as a teenager is even more difficult because their prefrontal cortex and corpus callosum are still developing (making it difficult to regulate emotion, recognize consequences of actions, etc.). Mindfulness is a tool we can use to build emotional awareness resiliency to stress.
