Noell found a particular interest in couples counseling and adults with a variety of issues –including family or relationship issues, individuals transitioning into retirement, and stress management. Noell has an appreciation for each individual’s unique human experience and feels truly blessed to share in the journey of healing with her clients. She believes wholeheartedly in the power of human-to-human healing and hopes to foster a trusting, safe, and empathic environment that encourages growth and insight for clients.
Noell’s passion for counseling goes way beyond just an interest in the field. She grew up in an unconventional family environment that played a huge role in inspiring her love for the counseling field. In the fourth grade, Noell was selected to be a peer mediator by her school counselor. It was at the age of 10 that her life’s path was laid before her. Since then, Noell has been working toward becoming a counselor. In December of 2013, she graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a minor in Business Administration with the goal of obtaining a graduate degree in counseling and opening her own ice cream parlor.
Upon graduation, she began working at a behavioral health hospital where she has since gained invaluable knowledge and perspective about the many concerns that individuals face in life. In January of 2015, Noell began the graduate counseling program at the University of North Texas. Lifeologie was lucky enough to snag her for her internship hours as she completes her degree at UNT.
My spirit for life is fueled by my love for my family, fiance, friends, and animals. In my downtime, you will catch me watching (and probably yelling at) the FoodNetwork or HGTV channel (because clearly, I am the expert in all things food and home). In addition to being a counselor, I have a dream of owning my own ice cream parlor; I might be a little obsessed with ice cream.
