My interests in counseling came from my own personal experience with therapy. I started therapy as a middle schooler and saw the benefits first-hand. Through the therapy process, I experienced personal growth and learned how to better love and support those around me, while maintaining a good sense of myself.
I do life and counseling with genuineness, empathy, and unconditional positive regard for people. I enjoy working with couples so much that I have decided to pursue my LMFT (Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist) in addition to my LPC. I especially enjoy working with couples and individuals who have been impacted by addiction and are struggling with both codependency and creating healthy boundaries. I also specialize in Christian counseling, depression, anxiety, eating disorders, and young adults in transition. Additionally, I understand what it can be like to grow up in “the bubble”, and I enjoy working with individuals who may be dealing with some of the pressures that come along with the so-called “white picket fence life”. I like to walk through life with my clients while encouraging their growth and genuine self-awareness.
