I grew up in the DFW metroplex and earned my bachelor’s degree in Communication from Texas A&M University… Gig ’em Aggies! I spent almost a decade in education as a teacher and in various roles in education but knew I wanted to pursue my education further in a field where I would still be able to help people from all walks of life. After benefitting from counseling myself in some of my deepest personal valleys of life, I was led to pursue my Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy, where I am currently a master’s student and will graduate in May of 2020.
I believe each of us has a unique story to tell and I believe in meeting people where they are at in a place where they feel welcomed, accepted, heard, and supported. At Lifeologie Cedar Hill, I hope to create a space where children, their families, couples, individuals, adults, new parents, and all people I come across have a space to share their story, embrace vulnerability, and achieve the growth and change they are seeking.
When not at Lifeologie, I enjoy running and races, yoga, reading, listening to podcasts, and spending time with my husband and our son. I also enjoy traveling, good conversations, family gatherings, serving at church, live music, Mexican food, and all the dirty chairs available.
