Supervised by Pallavi Sharma
I have a passion for working with couples, families, adult, young-adult, and adolescent individuals. I enjoy working with couples on intimacy, trauma, and communication. I also specialize in working with individuals on addiction, anxiety, depression, life and career transition, stress management, and sexuality. I believe that personal trauma and problems can impact every part of a person’s life so it is important to take a holistic approach.
My theory focuses on assisting clients in identifying unhelpful patterns of thinking and behaving and also assisting clients in making positive changes, gaining a better understanding of themselves and others, and teaching problems solving skills. In addition, providing a positive and uplifting environment for self-discovery and growth.
I earned my Bachelor of Arts in psychology from the University of Washington, and I am currently pursuing my Masters of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Southern Methodist University. Throughout my career I have experience working with young adults and adolescence in group and individual therapy, I have worked for a crisis hotline, and I have worked with adult clients.
I was born and raised in Seattle and moved to Dallas after graduating from the University of Washington. I have lived in Dallas since 2019 and am proud to call it home. I enjoy spending my free time outdoors, hiking, skiing, and taking my dog on long walks. I am also an avid movie- watcher and consider myself a bookworm.
