Need a judgment-free zone? Mary is your person! She believes that everyone deserves the opportunity to be heard, seen, and understood by another person. She takes a person-centered approach and will come alongside you to help you accomplish the goals that you have for yourself.
Having conquered struggles from her own childhood, Mary has spent her career working with children in order to help them overcome obstacles and reach their full potential. Mary is passionate about helping clients of all ages, with specific focuses on anxiety, depression, trauma, blended families, co-parenting, marriages and families, first responder wellness, faith-based counseling, and play therapy.
Mary was born in Fort Worth and raised west of the metroplex. She has a special affinity for rural life and loves trucks, animals, and being outdoors. She moved to the city to pursue her undergraduate degree in education from The University of Texas at Arlington. After graduation, Mary worked with children in the fields of education and child advocacy. She is currently enrolled at Colorado Christian University, working towards a graduate degree in clinical mental health counseling.
When she is not working at Lifeologie Cedar Hill, you can expect her to be traveling, spending time outdoors, gardening, tackling a home improvement project, scouring antique malls for new treasures, or going for a trail run. Family time is very important to Mary, and she values spending as much quality time as she can with those that she loves!
