Get to know Chanler

Chanler specializes in working with young children, adolescents, and teens and helping them navigate through trauma, tough transitions, depression, anxiety, and pretty much everything that comes along with being a kid! Chanler uses play therapy to help children express their emotions and help solve problems that may be hindering their ability to flourish. Chanler is passionate about building relationships and connecting with every client!

Chanler grew up in Morenci, Michigan, before attending Alma College. Chanler played softball and volleyball in college and continues to make sports a huge part of her life. Chanler began providing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to children with autism, which sparked her interest in becoming a social worker. She attended Simmons University where she received her Master of Social Work (MSW). Chanler loves working with children and has been a school social worker for the past couple of years, so any questions related to the school system, she's your girl!

When Chanler isn't working, you can find her traveling around to different cities and towns in the Midwest in search of the best that each town has to offer (FOODIE for sure!), camping in Northern Michigan, being near the water, playing games (board games, card games, yard games...), renovating or redoing home projects and spending time with her husband, children and two dogs. She is also OBSESSED with Christmas.
