Get to know Kristine

Kristine is a student-intern therapist from University of Las Vegas (UNLV),  aiming to help others through CBT-focused training and person-centered therapy. No matter what the issue or struggle may be, like depression, fear of public speaking, finding oneself and their identities, she will endeavor to work alongside you without any judgement.

She primarily has experience working with young adults and the elderly, but would love to work with adolescents. She will also happily work with anyone no matter their age, as she is appreciative for new experiences that help her professional development. She is most interested in working and healing in specialties concerning depression, anxiety, grief, BIPOC issues, LGBTQ+ issues, and the intersection of all of those experiences and identities.

She was born and raised in Las Vegas, NV, being the youngest of her generation in the family. The rest of her family comes from the Philippines and Hawai’i.

She is also a part of the LGBTQ+ community as a bisexual, demiromantic woman. She is a strong advocate for other LGBTQ+ folks like herself and their identities and struggles. Being within many marginalized groups, she aims to not only be a voice that speaks up for them, but also speak to them as a support system so they aren’t alone in their journey of counseling. In her free time, Kristine enjoys consuming content like novels, video games, anime, manga/manhwa/manhua, comics, and many other (geeky) things.
