Taylor is a California Native,  who believes that difficult experiences can make it hard to know your value, but is here to reassure you that you have a purpose!   She specializes in providing individual therapy, couples therapy, and pre-marital counseling to individuals and couples from diverse backgrounds, including interracial couples and couples within the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ) community. She also works with individuals and adolescents who struggle with stress, anxiety, depression, self-esteem issues and relationships who are dealing with infidelity, sex and lack of intimacy, communication, and trust issues.

Taylor is a Masters Level Intern attending Dallas Baptist University, who will be Soon be graduating!! Through the therapeutic process, she explores the things that are causing you the most stress, and together she will work through those difficulties. Her life’s mission is summed up in three words “Uplift, Empower and Encourage”.  Her greatest desire is to help you become the best version of yourself. Life can sometimes catch us off guard. Often, adults can hold the impact of childhood trauma for years before seeking psychotherapy and often mask their pain with anxiety, depression, compulsive behaviors, and substance use.   During this journey, she will explore past events, present realities, and future possibilities. What she loves most about being a helping professional is seeing people accept themselves for who they are, loving themselves where they are and being OK with not being OK.

Taylor grew up in Inglewood, California, a very low socioeconomic neighborhood. Her mother was murdered when she was 5 and her father became paraplegic when she was only 9 years old. She believes that the average person who grew up in impoverished areas or lower socioeconomic status communities had some sort of REVERSE role model mindset. She discovered that life was actually RICH with examples of what she didn’t want to be, so she just did the opposite of what she saw and became her OWN role model.

“One Small Crack Doesn’t Mean That You Are Broken, It Means You Were Put To The Test And Did Not Fall Apart”
