Kelsey is very interested in working with children, adolescents, individuals and couples who are struggling with infertility and/or women’s issues.
Kelsey is proud to have been born and raised in Texas! She grew up in Highland Village, Tx, but has lived in Dallas for the last eight years. She received her bachelor’s degree at Texas A&M in Interdisciplinary Studies.
She taught for the last nine years as a 7th Grade Language Arts teacher at her old middle school in Highland Village (Go Bulldogs!). She got into teaching not because she loves the subject of Language Arts, but because she loves working with children and adolescents. Once she realized that her favorite part of teaching was building relationships with students and seeing them succeed/overcome obstacles, she began to look into getting a master’s degree in counseling.
While Kelsey was working on her master’s degree, she was diagnosed with infertility issues. Kelsey tells us: “Therapy was a major healing factor for me as my husband and I went through our infertility journey. I attribute the success of our miracle baby girl, born via IVF this past October, to the healing therapeutic process I received.” This process sparked her interest in working with individuals and couples who are struggling with infertility.
In her free time, she loves to go for walks with her husband, daughter and their golden retriever, Tucker. She also loves to bake, work out and travel. She has recently been learning how to use her Cricut machine more by making fun clothing for her daughter and nephew. She is so excited to be with Lifeologie, and we are pumped to have her on the team!
