Get to know Trey

Trey strives to help each person who comes into his office, whether that be a child, teen, or adult, strengthen their relationships with themselves and others, improve their overall mental health, and learn how to cope with and overcome difficulties. Trey’s goal as a counselor is to not only give you tools to help process and deal with current issues, but also build your personal ‘coping toolbox’ so that you have the confidence and skills to tackle life’s challenges. He believes authentic healing can happen by drawing on the inner strengths each person has, while fostering an environment of hope each time you walk into a session.

If you are feeling ‘stuck’ and don’t know where to start with your mental health journey, Trey offers an empathetic, caring, accepting, and positive environment for you to share your needs and goals. His collaborative approach recognizes that therapy works best when the client is invested and has input in the counseling process.

As someone who has lived with chronic pain and illnesses for the past 15 years, Trey has a passion for meeting people where they are and helping them find the brightness of life during difficult times. If you are wrestling with adjusting to a new life challenge, depression, anxiety, anger, low self-esteem, or a new medical diagnosis, Trey would love to come alongside you on your healing journey to help you find hope and freedom. With a degree in biblical studies, Trey is also open to incorporating faith-based counseling to those that desire it. Our wounds and difficulties do not have to define us. There is hope even in the darkest of moments. Trey looks forward to walking alongside you as you discover a renewed joy and positive direction for your life.
