This is a 5 week, 10 session, virtual series for high-schoolers to better understand how to manage anxiety, depression, and all that life throws at them! This will be led by Julia and Brooke!
High school is hard, making every changing expectation even more difficult! They are wondering if school is going to be online or in-person, if they’re going to be safe at school and if they can get through the day with a mask on. These stressors can make a difficult time of life even more difficult. This group is designed to help high-schoolers increase their awareness, provide tools to help manage all of these transitions, and feel overall happier!
Is this Group right for my teen?
This group provides tools based in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to increase understanding and provide coping skills in managing anxiety and depression. During our time together, we will help the teens to understand what anxiety and depression is, how to recognize it in themselves, and give them tools to help them manage their emotions during this difficult time of their lives.
Do parents attend?
This is just a time for your high school to connect with themselves and other group members.
Are all genders welcome?
Yes! Anyone grades 9-12 are welcome!
