Michael Gross, LCMHCA, NCC brings warmth, compassion, and over 25 years of experience as an ordained Christian minister and board-certified hospital chaplain to his work with couples. Mike creates a welcoming, inclusive space for all beliefs, backgrounds, and identities. Drawing from Family Systems, Narrative Therapy, CBT, and Motivational Interviewing, Mike helps couples improve their communication, navigate life transitions, and build resilience together. He also uses trauma-informed, strengths based approaches rooted in social justice and multicultural principles. As a minister, he has the distinctive ability to hold space for relational, emotional, and spiritual dimensions of partnership. Mike is available to meet with couples both in person at Lifeologie Counseling Durham as well as virtually.
Madison Sellers, LCMHCA, CTP-1 is a transgender and neurodivergent counselor who brings a deeply affirming and identity conscious lens when working with couples. Madison has over a decade of experience supporting diverse populations and is especially skilled at helping partners improve their communication, strengthen attachment, and navigate complex relational dynamics. He draws from Family Systems, attachment theory, DBT, narrative therapy and EMDR to help couples address grief, trauma, anxiety and life transitions together. Language, self-expression, and identity are treated as central to the healing process. Madison is available in person at Lifeologie Counseling Raleigh as well as virtually.
