Cassie was born and raised in Fort Worth. She comes from a very close-knit family. Not a day goes by where one family member or another isn’t blowing up the family group message, usually discussing college football, their next family trip to Disney, or the newest recipe someone is trying that week. Although a Texas girl at heart, Cassie decided to kickstart her college career by moving to Norman and attending the University of Oklahoma. Boomer! She is thankful for this move because it is where Cassie fell in love with counseling. During a practicum course at a local hospital, Cassie was paired with a client to spend time with. This experience allowed Cassie to learn and understand the healing power of the therapeutic relationship. It was this experience that inspired Cassie to follow her heart towards counseling. After completing her bachelor’s degree at the University of Oklahoma, she was excited to return home to Texas to continue her education. She is currently a Master’s Level Intern working towards her Masters of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at the University of North Texas at Dallas.
Cassie has a passion for working with children and adolescents. She understands that growing up children and teens can face many challenges and sometimes feel they have nowhere to turn. Cassie wants to work with children and adolescents in developmentally appropriate ways to assist them through this challenging time. She strives to create a welcoming environment for each client she meets.
When she is not working at Lifeologie or hitting the books for school, Cassie enjoys spending time with family. Each Sunday, she looks forward to teaching Sunday School for children at the church she grew up attending. She enjoys traveling and wants to check off a trip to each state from her Bucket List. Cassie also likes cooking, catching up on TV with her family, and relaxing with a good book in her free time.
