Deanne holds two Master’s Degrees, one in Professional Counseling and one in Professional Development both from Amberton University and a Bachelor’s degree in Human Communications from Abilene Christian University. She is an LPC and LMFT and a member of both the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy as American Counseling Association.
Her specialties — last ditch marital, blended families, parental alienation – involve tough situations that are tricky to navigate. If you’re stuck in the family court system or trying to pull your marriage out of the ditch, you want Deanne on your team.
Deanne lives the motto “It’s Never Too Late.” She knows all too well that life can come at you unexpectedly and hit you pretty hard…but it’s never too late to get up and start all over. She spends her days and energy constantly encouraging others to do the same.
Having lived and studied acting and performing in both Los Angeles and London, she has appeared on TV, in motion pictures, commercials, voice-overs and print ads and has been the spokesperson for many large companies. She has traveled nationally as a speaker trainer coaching professionals to public speak. Deanne has also worked at ABC’s WFAA Channel 8 as a traffic reporter and weekend host.
Since settling back in her hometown of Big D, Deanne has been blessed with the opportunity to embrace careers that have enabled her to further her passions while raising three children as a single mother – kids who like to keep the family busy! Her two oldest kids are both collegiate athletes. Her son Skyler is the quarterback at West Texas A&M, and daughter Berkeley plays lacrosse as the goalie for the Sun Devils at Arizona State University. The baby of the family, son Reese, plays football at Coppell High School and is a black belt in taekwondo – watch out for this kid!
As if this wasn’t enough to keep her busy, Deanne put out a country music album titled (well duh…) “Never Too Late” which did very well in Nashville and overseas and is currently on iTunes. With her band “Deanne Moore and Group Therapy” she performs in different venues and festivals around town (or where ever they are asked to play! – hint! hint!)
No stranger to hard work, dedication and life struggles, this fun loving single mom is doing her best to help others get over the struggles they are facing.
