Kim offers yoga therapy for addiction and substance abuse, eating disorders, anxiety, insomnia, panic attacks, stress management and exercise issues. A lover of all forms of physical movement, Kim has had a career in personal training, Pilates, yoga therapy and psychotherapeutic yoga for over a decade.
A graduate of The LISPY School for Psychotherapeutic Yoga, Kim also teaches on the LISPY faculty. As her knowledge of anatomy, physiology and neurobiology expands, Kim experiences the great ability for health and well being through the mind body connection in working with her clients.
Living a joyful, purposeful life filled with experience and adventure is close to Kim’s heart. But even with that intentional living comes stress, anxiety, depression, injuries, sickness, illness, possible trauma and the need for care and therapeutic help. Through her work, Kim has seen those issues become trapped and stuck in the tissues of the body. What happens in the mind eventually gets felt and experienced in the physical body. Through myofascial release, breath work, movement and mindfulness those things that are stuck begin to dissipate and release. Bringing the client into greater balance and health. Kim also works with the angst of again, greater body acceptance, eating disorders and post rehabilitation recovery.
