She has a passion for walking alongside others in order to find healing and provide a safe space for each person to grow and be able to experience the fullness of life and hope.

Rachel’s goal is to create an environment where others can feel safe, be authentic, and grow in trust to promote holistic healing. She desires to listen to both the joys and heartaches that one will inevitably experience daily. Her goal is to be edifying and provide practical tools that one can use in daily life outside of the office, which allows for an opportunity of a fuller, better life and relationships with others.

Rachel grew up in the suburbs of Dallas, Texas. As a child, Rachel was very involved in a wide variety of activities such as art, competitive dance, softball, volleyball, speech competitions, and even math olympics. She attended private school and the same church from kindergarten through high school, which allowed for close-knit relationships and community. From there she transitioned to studying at Stephen F. Austin State University.

In 2014, she graduated with a B.S. in Psychology with a minor in Chemistry. During her time at SFA, she was able to perform research in the areas of body image as well as neuropsychology. In addition, she spent time leading small groups at church and volunteering in collegiate organizations, which confirmed her passion for working with people and the counseling relationship. Thus, her time there fueled her passion for helping others via the realm of counseling. Currently, Rachel is pursuing her Masters in Biblical Counseling at Dallas Theological Seminary. She looks forward to the continued process of learning and practicing alongside the Lifeologie team.

When Rachel is not counseling or in class, she enjoys a good Netflix binge, Pinterest-ing recipes and DIY projects, baking, or crafting! She also doubles as a flight attendant, which has allowed her to travel all over the world exploring new cities with her husband, Mark.
