Saliha has a Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling from Southern Methodist University. At Lifeologie, Saliha works with individuals, couples, families, and adolescents — particularly those dealing with addictions, substance abuse, and the resulting relationship issues.
Saliha considers counseling one of her great loves in life, and wants to help instill hope and empower those around her. She finds the resilience, and strength people possess when going through tough life circumstances admirable, and believes that people have within themselves the power to grow, and accomplish their life goals. Having had the opportunity to experience living in varying cultures, she also has an interest in working with clients struggling with cultural roles and identity issues, such as balancing adjusting to a unique culture while also being authentic to self. Saliha is bilingual and speaks both Urdu and English fluently.
Originally from Pakistan, Saliha was born and raised in Saudi Arabia. After completing her secondary education she moved to the States in 2010 for college and graduate school.
Saliha graduated with honors from Cleveland State University with a Bachelors of Arts in Psychology. She believes that her four years of undergrad had a profound influence on her confidence in herself, and furthered her unwavering passion for psychology, adding to her interest in the human mind and behavior.
After completing her undergrad she took a gap year working closely with children in the Cleveland Metropolitan School District as a teacher’s assistant while preparing for graduate school.
Coming from a large family (Saliha is the youngest of five children) she loves spending time with her family! She also enjoys spending time with her many friends, as well as watching Netflix, cooking, and reading.
