Less stress, more peace!

Feeling stressed out lately? Being a teenager can be stressful enough, not to mention, being a teenager during a Pandemic! Join our presenter Rachel Burns, as she reviews some practical tips and strategies for stress management and reduction. Rachel will share how stress overload can lead to anxiety, withdrawal, aggression, physical illness, or poor coping skills. In this workshop, you may start to understand how your perception of a situation can cause changes to occur in your mind and body. These changes, called “fight, flight or freeze” are the brain’s natural reaction to stress and prepares your body to respond to danger. Leaving the workshop, your coping skill toolbox will be filled with new calming strategies, practical skills, and helpful education that can help you manage the stressful situations you may be facing.
