Get to know Celeste

Celeste a native Texan who obtained her B.S. in Human Services with a focus on counseling from Southwestern Assemblies of God University (SAGU). She is currently obtaining her M.S. degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from SAGU. She has experience working in non-profits and with individuals in higher education settings, providing academic and career advising/counseling and teaching life-skills to students navigating their college years.

Celeste desires to work with adolescents and young adults, to see them healed, empowered, and thriving in their lives. She is passionate about working with marginalized and minority groups and thinks it’s important to advocate on their behalf. Her approach to counseling is humanistic and person-centered. She believes that individuals have the capacity for growth in their self-worth and self-acceptance. She wants to walk alongside you in your counseling journey, and provide you with a safe space to be yourself, reflect, change, and feel empowered!

When she’s not working or studying for school, Celeste likes to go on walks with her husband and her dog (Pippin), read psychological thrillers, drink lavender lattes at local coffee shops, binge reality TV shows, and watch horror movies.
