Get to know Cynthia
Cynthia believes everyone has a story and her goal is to provide a safe and non-judgmental space for clients and families to share that story. Often, it’s the therapeutic relationship that helps bring about the pathway to healing, self-acceptance and meaningful change. Cynthia believes that regardless of life paths, all individuals have an inner Spirit that dwells within which helps them learn how to become the best version of themselves.
Cynthia is currently pursuing her M.Ed. in Marriage and Family Counseling at Lamar University. She approaches counseling through a client-led, integrative perspective and utilizes a variety of techniques and models. While she does see a wide spectrum of clients, dealing with women issues, menopause, nutrition, health and wellness are her top skill set. Cynthia is passionate about helping shed light on existing family patterns so that they can be interrupted and rewritten to better support unity within the family virtue. She has experience with individual care & self-discovery, and marriages, couples & relationship objectives. She believes that all clients are uniquely created and her experience utilizing different styles allows her to tailor therapy to the client’s specific needs.
