Get to know Jodi

Born in Calgary, Canada and growing up in Switzerland, England, and Ohio, Jodi’s life overseas fostered in her a love for travel. One of Jodi’s fondest memories is riding her bike 4,403 miles across America in 93 days, from Williamsburg, Virginia to Astoria, Oregon alongside 10 other cyclists.

She has enjoyed mentoring, coaching, leading, and teaching others in individual and small group settings, spiritual and secular, for over 25 years. Her life experience spans a wide range of vocational and personal pursuits including working as a paralegal, organizing and leading multiple mission trips to Russia, and administering the nation’s largest internal residency program in Boston, MA.

Jodi’s treatment approach is relational and interpersonal. She loves sitting with people and hearing their stories. She is passionate about collaborating with clients on their journey towards deep and lasting change that goes beyond symptom reduction. In the context of the safe and supportive counseling relationship, clients can experience healing and grow in their relationships with God and others.

Her work comes from a psychodynamic framework, influenced by attachment theory and experiential therapy.

Jodi has been happily married to her husband since 2000, and they have one daughter. She enjoys traveling, reading, NBA games, live music, and watching or playing the great game of golf.
