Get to know Micheal
Michael is committed to the mission that every individual, regardless of relationship status, works on past traumas, negative thinking patterns, poor boundaries, and any other obstacle that impedes them from living their best life. Through the utilization of multiple counseling modalities such as Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Adlerian Therapy, and Person-Centered Therapy, he believes that an individual can reach their fullest potential in life.
Micheal is particularly passionate about helping couples overcome obstacles. He understands the unique circumstances each couple encounters when things appear to be hopeless. He understands the difficulties which can strain a marriage such as sexual addiction, infidelity, and a lack of intimacy within the relationship. Frequent arguing, verbal combat, poor communication, and loss of interest in the relationship are simply symptoms of a deeper problem. Michael believes that there is hope for couples who are willing to consider the journey to restoration.
Micheal has mentored many individuals and couples on their journey to wellness. He has a strong desire to uplift and motivate adults that may struggle with relationship issues, career goals, and life development. He strives to provide an environment that is safe, receptive, and, most importantly, authentic.
Micheal is a graduate of Southern Bible Institute and College where he obtained a BA in Biblical Studies with a distinction in individual/marriage counseling. He is completing his counseling master’s degree at Dallas Theological Seminary.
Micheal and his wife, Kamesha have been married for almost two decades. They have three beautiful children — Mariah, Nehemiah, and Josiah. He believes that family is the most important thing in life and enjoys seeing the fullness of love expressed within his family.
When he is not in the office, you can find this foodie in the kitchen with his best friend who also happens to be his wife. He is a lover of all things peanut butter and is somewhat of a pizza connoisseur. In his free time, he is usually submerged in anything related to the automotive industry, playing video games with his sons, or discussing teenage drama with his daughter.
