Get to know Savannah

Savannah enjoys facilitating play therapy with children, working with adolescents, and young adults. She has a strong desire to provide support, empathy, and a safe environment for all of her clients. She believes that it is essential to allow children to have a safe place to play out whatever they are feeling.  She wants to help children develop a sense of self-responsibility, control, and self-confidence in their sessions. As a master’s level intern, Savannah is prepared to work with various presenting problems including anxiety, stress-management, depression, life transitions, women’s issues, health/wellness, mindfulness, bullying, parenting skills, ADHD, blended families, families, and children.

Savannah was born in Reno, Nevada but has lived in Dallas, TX since she was six years old. Savannah received her B.A. in Psychology and her B.A. in Markets and Culture from Southern Methodist University in 2021. She is currently a graduate student at the University of North Texas at Dallas pursuing her master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a focus on children. She pursued counseling because she always had an interest in mental health and wanted to make a difference in someone’s life. She has always wanted to work with children because she loves to see how much they can grow over time and develop into creative and wonderful people. When Savannah isn’t at Lifeologie, she is snuggling with her cat, trying new restaurants, exercising, hiking, rewatching Friends and That 70’s Show, hanging out with her friends, or flying up to Alaska and Nevada to see her family.
