Get to know Emmanuel

Emmanuel Ezeokeke is passionate about working with first-generation immigrants, refugees, and those who struggle with multicultural issues, including systemic and racial oppression, bullying, generational trauma, and the challenges of assimilating in unfamiliar places. He is also dedicated to helping teenagers, young adults, and the elderly with severe anxiety, depression, PTSD, difficulties in relationships, and intimacy issues

Emmanuel is no stranger to different viewpoints, perspectives, and experiences from his own. Having lived and schooled in Africa, Asia, and the United States, he knows what it’s like to face the challenges of living, adapting, and succeeding in new environments. He brings unique and creative ways to tackle these problems, while making clients feel heard and understood as they develop ways to find their authentic selves in the world in a way that is true to their interests, livelihood, sense of self, and voice.

Emmanuel is currently completing his Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Houston Christian University. He ensures that clients are well cared for physically, psychologically, socially, and spiritually. His therapy space is a safe environment free of judgment, where clients from all walks of life can explore sensitive issues.
In his spare time, he enjoys reflective self-journaling, drawing and creating art, playing the piano, and walking in the solitude of nature.
