If you are looking to resolve unprocessed traumatic memories, she’s trained and highly skilled in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT). She takes a client-centered approach and incorporates the use of motivational interviewing techniques, CBT, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and other evidence-based practices to address anxiety, depression, substance abuse, various addictions, work-life balance, social/behavioral challenges, past and recent traumas, life transitions, and other mental health circumstances.
Stephanie is a licensed associate counselor with a master’s degree in professional counseling and a bachelor’s degree in exercise and wellness. She’s a certified yoga instructor, has a black belt in taekwondo, and has competed in several marathons. Hiking is also something she loves to do, not to mention cooking healthy and delicious meals. You can catch her working out at the gym or practicing yoga as part of her self-care routine.
