Get to know Pierce

Pierce Anderson is a Master’s-level counseling intern specializing in stress management, performance, and men’s issues. He has a great appreciation for older adults supporting their families and transitioning into post-work life, and he has a knack for helping people who find themselves in this process. He is skilled in helping adults from all backgrounds deal with a variety of life struggles, including anxiety, grief, and role conflict.

Pierce is a new face on the Lifeologie team, offering an enthusiastic demeanor and a fresh counseling perspective. His talk therapy approaches include cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), which focuses on replacing negative thoughts, and existential therapy, which explores how a person’s choices influence their future. He appreciates the unique worldviews that every person has to offer and enjoys the process of becoming familiar with their perspectives. He takes a genuine interest in his clients' lived experiences and empowers them to secure autonomy over their futures.

Pierce received his Bachelor of Arts from Louisiana Tech University, then returned to his hometown of Dallas, Texas, where he is currently completing his Master’s in Clinical Mental Health counseling at the University of North Texas.

He lives with his beautiful wife and two spoiled dogs. When Pierce is not in the counseling office, he is likely either at the gym, spending time with his wife, or competing in an e-sports tournament.
