Jasmin was born in Los Angeles, California, and moved to Fort Worth, Texas, in 2007. She completed her undergraduate studies at Texas Woman’s University, where she majored in psychology with a concentration in counseling psychology and women’s studies. She is pursuing her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Tarleton State University in Fort Worth, Texas. She looks forward to working with children (ages 4-12) and adults (18+).
After working in Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) for 5+ years with children on the Autism Spectrum, she found a passion for unlocking children’s full potential and encouraging their independence as human beings. She believes that all humans deserve a chance to be understood and accepted. As a college student, she received counseling services for grief and transitioning into adulthood which also sparked an interest in her future career in counseling individuals dealing with grief and adulthood transitions.
When she is not reading, studying, or researching, she likes to spend time with her family while exploring new outdoor playgrounds and activities. She also enjoys a good show to binge-watch and craft new things for her household. A few things she loves are coffee, crime junkie, Mexican food, and cats.
