Get to know Marci
Marci Orr serves as the Clinical Director at Lifeologie Oak Cliff, working in collaboration with a group of talented and dedicated therapists.
Everything Marci does as a therapist is taking into consideration that people are not meant to be in isolation, rather part of a much larger system in terms of relationships, families, support systems, work, and cultural environments. She seeks to learn what IT is that you care about. Healing? Growth? Transformation? Her belief is that you can find reconciliation for your life. The reinvention of one’s self is possible! She works to encourage hope. She believes you can transform your life, transform your relationships, and transform your community.
Marci graduated from UNT Denton with a Bachelors in Communication. After a 15 year career in Advertising/Marketing, she decided to take a leap of faith by going back to school to earn her Master’s in Counseling from SMU.
When Marci is not in the office, she finds joy in being a Dog Mom, Yogi And Spiritual Gangster! She has a rescue named Gracie, and a miniature daschund named Tashi. She makes it a priority to practice yoga daily to support her overall physical and mental well-being. She is part of an on-going Women’s Bible Study and hosts small group book clubs. She is most grateful for her Family and Friends.
Marci also helps with Adolescents, Adulting, Anxiety Disorders, Depression, EMDR Therapy, Family Therapy, Grief & Loss, Leadership Coaching, Parenting, Stress Management, Tweens & Teens.
