We offer counseling services for individuals, couples, families, and kids. Many of our locations also offer alternative therapeutic approaches such as psychotherapeutic yoga, EMDR, and more — all within a team-based, integrative framework.

We are seeking a psychiatric nurse practitioner (PMHNP) or other qualified prescriber to join our multidisciplinary team. This clinician will provide psychiatric evaluations, prescribe medications, and offer ongoing medication management for clients engaged in therapy. The ideal candidate is collaborative, communicative, and aligned with Lifeologie’s integrated, client-centered therapeutic model.

Our team culture is grounded in weekly collaboration. Every week, the practice closes for 2–3 hours for a required all-staff meeting. These sessions include case consultation, open discussion, and support across disciplines. Prescribers play a vital role in our shared learning environment and integrated care approach.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychiatric diagnostic evaluations for clients referred through internal or external sources
  • Administer and evaluate DNA test for psychotropic medications and painkillers.
  • Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications in accordance with evidence-based practice and client needs
  • Coordinate care with Lifeologie therapists and clinical leadership
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation, including evaluation notes, medication logs, and progress updates
  • Communicate with clients regarding medication education, side effects, risks, and treatment adherence
  • Participate in collaborative team meetings and case consultations
  • Refer clients to outside providers or higher levels of care when appropriate

Qualifications

  • Licensed and credentialed as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP), Psychiatrist (MD/DO), or prescribing provider with appropriate scope of practice
  • Active license and prescriptive authority in the state of Texas (Required)
  • DEA license (Required)
  • Minimum of 1–2 years of clinical experience in psychiatric evaluation and medication management preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Commitment to integrated, client-centered care in a collaborative settin
  • Familiarity with or openness to Lifeologie’s therapeutic approach and values

Schedule: Floating between Uptown Dallas, Oak Cliff, Fort Worth, and Rockwall offices

Setting: Outpatient private practice (in-person preferred or hybrid based on location needs)
