Job Overview:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated fully licensed Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in mental health counseling and demonstrate a commitment to providing high-quality therapeutic services to individuals across various demographics. This role requires a professional who is skilled in various therapeutic modalities and is passionate about helping clients achieve their mental health goals. We are currently fully remote, however, in the future, a physical office is expected and will shift to a hybrid model.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to understand clients' needs and develop tailored treatment plans.
  Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions focusing on mental health, addiction, and behavioral issues.
• Maintain accurate and confidential medical records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
  Utilize evidence-based practices in therapy, including but not limited to behavioral therapy, chronic pain counseling, and child family counseling.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care for clients.
• Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in clinical counseling.

Clinical Requirements:

• Maintain individual caseload of 20-25 clients a week.
• Willing to see clients at least three or four evenings per week or two or three evenings and Saturdays.
• Contributing to keeping meetings productive but lively - creating a collaborative atmosphere of goodwill and respect.
• Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; establishing personal networks.
• Supervision:
  • Responsible for creating and maintaining a collaborative, effective training atmosphere for masters interns and pre-licensed therapists.
  • Review all intern case notes.
  • Follow up on intern cases in which client is not stable or is in crisis.
  • Meet with pre-license, as needed.
  • Once each week – meet with assigned masters level interns.
  • Plan, monitor and appraise job results of all supervisees.
  • 24/7 availability as supervisor to staff as needed.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field.
• Valid state licensure as a therapist or counselor (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, etc.).
• Experience or training in mental health counseling, addiction counseling, clinical counseling, and geriatrics is preferred.
• Proficiency in coding for medical records is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse populations.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.
