First responders witness some of the most intense moments in a person's life. Post-traumatic stress (PTS) is commonly associated with first responders who have experienced extreme crises or violent acts. After their experiences, some people are at risk to exhibit symptoms of PTS such as extreme anxiety, crises-related flashbacks, unpredictable aggression, and mood and memory disturbances.
PTS counseling is the most effective method to relieve symptoms in individuals suffering from PTS. Our therapists at Lifeologie are trained in multiple approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Mindfulness and Meditation, Group Therapy, and other alternative approaches.
