She is currently pursuing her Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Counseling from Tarleton State University in Fort Worth.

Her passion and goal are to help children and adolescents express their feelings and develop healthy coping skills, a strong sense of self, more self-love and care, as well as process the problems they face or could potentially face in the future so that they can grow into adulthood and live a life that is worth experiencing and enjoying. She has a strong desire to provide support, empathy, and a safe environment for all her clients. She also has an interest and is prepared to work with a variety of presenting problems including life transitions, health/wellness, stress management, anxiety, parenting skills, play therapy, ADHD, behavioral issues, and relationship issues. She sees children, adolescents, young adults, adults, and families.

After graduating from UT San Antonio, she moved back home and started working in Fort Worth as a Behavioral Therapist and became certified as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) for autistic children and has been certified for 4+ years. Anika currently lives in Haltom City and currently works at Cook Children’s Child Study Center as an RBT, part-time, while pursuing her graduate degree.

Anika is happiest when she turns on her starlight projector and watches K-dramas, New Girl, The Office, Marvel movies, Bollywood movies, and any comedy/thriller/scary movie/TV show. She also likes to listen to music in her bedroom or jam out in the car. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends and her hobbies are going to concerts, traveling, hiking, and trying out new food places!
