Jocelyn Jarman is a dedicated therapist currently pursuing her Master’s in Social Work at Grand Canyon University, following a strong foundation in childhood education. With a Bachelor's in Elementary and Special Education from Northern Arizona University, Jocelyn brings a deep understanding of children's developmental and emotional needs to her therapeutic practice.
Before transitioning to social work, Jocelyn spent several years teaching, where she honed her skills in supporting individuals through various challenges. Today, she specializes in addressing childhood trauma, grief, ADHD, substance abuse, anxiety, depression, complex family dynamics, and other issues. Jocelyn uses a strength-based therapy approach, helping her clients tap into their unique strengths to overcome obstacles and promote personal growth.
Central to Jocelyn’s therapeutic philosophy is the belief in the power of self-compassion as a foundation for self-love and healing. She encourages clients to cultivate kindness towards themselves, fostering resilience and emotional well-being in a safe and supportive environment.
Outside of her professional life, Jocelyn enjoys a balanced lifestyle, finding empowerment in bodycombat classes and the energy that comes from physical fitness. She also loves hiking, socializing with friends over lunch, and cherishing quality time with her husband and five children.
