Passionate about the LGBTQIA+ community, non-monogamous relationships, and trauma, Lauren Pennington (she/her) provides a safe haven for identity exploration and healing for individual adults and adolescents. She is an empathetic therapist dedicated to fostering resilience and self-discovery. Grounded in a humanistic approach, she integrates somatic work, yoga, and nervous system regulation to address anxiety and promote well-being.

From unraveling trauma to navigating life transitions, Lauren empowers clients to cultivate self-worth and navigate their unique paths with authenticity. With an anti-oppressive lens, cultural sensitivity, and a passion for inclusive mental health, she practices collaborative care, offering supportive challenges and embracing discomfort to facilitate transformative growth. Guided by a preemptive radical inclusion approach and a trauma-informed framework, she navigates diverse aspects of identity, relationships, and sexuality, and embodies a holistic and compassionate therapeutic style, fostering a space where clients feel seen, heard, and validated.

Lauren received her Bachelor of Science in Strategic Communications from Texas Christian University and is currently pursuing her Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a Trauma Counseling certification from Antioch University New England.

Outside work, Lauren enjoys doing portrait photography, playing video games, fly fishing with her husband, and playing with her cat and two dogs.
