Lillie is a graduate student pursuing her Masters of Science in Counseling at Southern Methodist University. Her formal education, both undergraduate and graduate, has prepared her to work with adolescents, adults, families, groups, and couples. As a Master's level intern, Lillie is prepared to work with a wide array of presenting problems, including, but not limited to, adjustment issues, stress management, depression, anxiety, trauma & PTSD, grief, and women's issues.
As a counselor, Lillie works with clients through an integrative, collaborative therapeutic lens and she is responsible for personalizing her theoretical orientation, treatment plan, and interventions to a client's unique needs and presenting problems. She is dedicated to honoring client’s unique context, circumstances, and goals while fostering a collaborative, supportive, and therapeutic alliance with her clients. She is committed to creating a warm and welcoming counseling environment where clients feel comfortable examining their presenting issues and taking affirmative action toward bettering themselves and improving their quality of life.
Prior to beginning graduate school, Lillie grew up in the North Dallas area and left briefly to obtain her Bachelors of Psychology at the University of Oklahoma. When she is not working or studying, she enjoys exploring different areas of Dallas, spending time with friends and family, working on puzzles, and reading books. Creating and working with her hands is an integral part of her past time and she can often be found happily writing, painting, sculpting, and experimenting with different artistic mediums.
