Get to know Nicole
Nicole is dedicated to offering support for adults, couples, and families by providing a healing, non-judgmental environment that fosters client awareness and nurtures each client's unique therapeutic process. Nicole believes that there’s a connection to each person’s childhood experiences, family patterns, and behaviors that creates the framework for our personal belief and value systems. Given the proper tools to navigate those belief systems, each of us can redefine how we create new futures for ourselves and live happy, whole lives.
With an extensive professional background in the corporate world, Nicole’s passion is working with women in Corporate America, with a primary focus on topics like anxiety and depression and multicultural issues impacted by the workplace. Additionally, Nicole also enjoys helping couples and families work through difficult issues while paying particular attention to generational patterns.
Nicole has contributed to Diversity and Inclusion Committees and mentored young professionals. This experience has provided her with an interest in the Mental Health practices of companies for their employees.
To achieve client goals, Nicole uses an eclectic approach to the therapeutic process. Nicole is an Attachment & Internal Family Systems informed therapist and incorporates Cognitive Behavioral, Family Systems, and Trauma techniques.
Nicole received her Master of Arts in Professional Counseling at Amberton University. She obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Applied Sociology and Business Administration from Texas State University.
She and her husband love DIY adventures and were featured on the DIY Network for their work on a home project! Nicole is a step-mom and shares a beaming "little" with her hubby.
