Lisa Fanning is a passionate and curious counselor driven by a deep desire to understand and empower individuals through their unique narratives. Her counseling philosophy revolves around empathy, active listening, and collaboration. Lisa believes in the transformative power of counseling and feels privileged to walk alongside her clients on their journey toward hope, healing, and growth. She works with adolescents and adults and specializes in women’s issues, Christian and spiritual counseling, personal transformation, and mentoring and career issues.

Her mission is to empower others to make informed and healthy life decisions. She strives to help people understand themselves through collaboration and exploration, providing the tools and insights needed for positive change. She aims to guide individuals through a transformative process that fosters self-awareness and growth.

Lisa aims to create a safe and supportive space where clients can freely explore their thoughts, feelings, and experiences. She deeply values her clients' trust and vulnerability and considers it an honor to guide them through self-discovery. Lisa's mission is to help clients embrace more of themselves and discover what they truly want.

Lisa holds a Bachelor's Degree in Finance from the University of Texas at Austin and an MBA from the University of Houston. Lisa dedicated several decades to the financial services industry, but her passion extended beyond the corporate world. Through various volunteer roles in the community and at church, she found joy working with adolescents, mentoring young women, co-leading adult small groups, and participating in her church's recovery program. She has led process groups in both church and secular settings. These groups provided a supportive context for leaders and individuals seeking personal growth.

Beyond the counseling space, Lisa embraces an adventurous spirit. She has traveled through Europe, Asia, and Africa and understands the richness of diverse perspectives. She finds solace in hiking, biking, and walking and has even taken on a few triathlons along the way. Additionally, she indulges in the simple pleasures of reading, watching movies, and, most importantly, spending quality time with friends and family.
