Get to know Shaun
Shaun is a North Carolina native who earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He moved to the DFW area in 2005, earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Biblical Studies and became a licensed minister. Shaun is currently pursuing his Master of Arts in Professional Counseling at Amberton University.
When he is not studying, Shaun enjoys reading, listening to music, watching movies, enjoying sports, and traveling. When given the chance, he loves being at a resort in a tropical location.
With a humanistic point of view, Shaun recognizes that clients are individuals with their own unique stories, issues and concerns. Whether it is dealing with stress, anxiety, depression, grief, or a life-altering ailment, he is willing to meet clients where they are and help guide them to being their best self.
He believes there is one philosophy to always keep in mind: “It’s not what happens to you, but how you react to it that matters.” In the words of Beyoncé, “I’ma keep running, ’cause a winner don’t quit on themselves.” (Freedom)
