Counseling Background

John has a passion for building up the total person through examining past experiences, current challenges, lifestyle, and plans for a bright future. Through his own life experiences, John witnessed firsthand the negative impact that trauma, relational and familial breakdowns can have on an individual. He used these experiences and early setbacks to grow into one who believes that through faith and the will to overcome we can all become better! This fueled a passion in him to work to help couples and families overcome these same challenges and to help them move towards their idea of true life satisfaction!

John is a minister/Sunday school teacher who is born and raised in Dallas, Texas. He is currently completing his master's in Marriage and Family Therapy at Abilene Christian University. John is a former college athlete who still enjoys working out, being a positive influence in the community, and spending time/traveling with his family.
