Get to know Karolina

Meet Karolina. (pronounced: Carol-EE-nah)

Karolina Jevaltaite-Harmon believes that difficult family systems and past trauma can make our thoughts a little cloudy. She values helping clients to uncover patterns that may no longer be serving them or their relationships. Together, you will explore your journey into self-discovery and make way for sustainable change. Karolina is trained in utilizing EMDR to assist in healing emotional distress that results from disturbing life experiences. She considers it an honor and a privilege to join with clients while they process relational trauma, anxiety, depression, and relationship issues.

Karolina specializes in childhood trauma, couples counseling, and helping women with identity issues and motherhood. She received a Masters of Family and Marriage Therapy from Western Michigan University and is also a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). She approaches therapy from a family systems lens and utilizes mindfulness and psychodynamic-based interventions to provide person-centered treatment.

she understands transitions

Karolina can empathize with her clients who are navigating major life transitions, since she was born in Lithuania and experienced the stress of acclimating to a brand new culture at a very young age.

When Karolina isn’t working, she loves to spend quality time with her husband, young daughter, and pup. You’ll probably find her traveling to new places, exploring new restaurants and coffee shops, taking trips to Lake Michigan, or curled up on the couch with a good psychological thriller.
