Get to know Pamela

Pam believes that everyone has the capacity to grow and develop into the best possible version of themselves, and she feels that it is her job to guide and support her clients as they work towards this goal together.  She sees herself as a very experienced observer of human behavior, and feels that becoming a counselor was simply a natural continuation of her enthusiasm for the life complications that affect us all.

A native of Louisiana, her education includes a Bachelor of Art in French Education, and Master of Art in French literature.  She has both lived and studied in France and Belgium, and taught French in high school for several years. Pam is in the process of completing her Master of Art in Professional Counseling at Amberton University, and she is currently a master’s level intern counselor at Lifeologie Oak Cliff.

She has developed an enthusiasm for helping clients who are members of the LGBTQ+ community. She is also passionate about offering trauma-informed care for those who have survived difficult situations, and enjoys meeting the needs of adults and young adults as they maneuver through life’s many difficulties.
