Saliha Qadir specializes in working with individuals and couples seeking help for pre-marital counseling, marital concerns, intimacy issues, infidelity recovery, and dealing with interpersonal conflicts. She also works with adults navigating modern dating and relationships, especially those also struggling with cultural roles, expectations, generational trauma, and identity. As a South Asian Muslim and fluent Urdu and English speaker, Saliha understands the challenges of adjusting to a unique culture while remaining authentic to one's true self. She often helps her clients navigate tough life transitions and heal from depression, anxiety, trauma, and addictions

Originally from Pakistan, Saliha was born and raised in Saudi Arabia. After completing her secondary education she moved to the States in 2010 for college and graduate school, including earning her Masters of Science in Mental Health Counseling from Southern Methodist University.

As a third culture kid she is passionate about dispelling stigma regarding seeking mental health services within BIPOC communities. She provides her clients with a warm, empathetic space to share their stories and aims to normalize therapy and help those in the community who often feel alone and unheard.

Saliha considers counseling one of her great loves in life and wants to help instill hope and empower those around her. She finds the resilience and strength people possess when going through difficult life circumstances admirable, and believes that people have within themselves the power to grow and accomplish their life goals.

“The truth is: belonging starts with self-acceptance. Your level of belonging, in fact, can never be greater than your level of self-acceptance, because believing that you’re enough is what gives you the courage to be authentic, vulnerable, and imperfect.” Brené Brown
