Shuntrice Stapleton is a licensed school counselor and therapist who offers individual and family counseling for older children, teens, and young adults at Lifeologie Counseling Sandy Springs. She specializes in helping clients navigate anxiety, depression, ADHD, self-esteem issues, school-related stress, family conflict, trauma, and life transitions. Shuntrice also offers career counseling, motivation and goal-setting support, and work-life stress management, drawing on an integrative approach that blends Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing.
A State of Georgia Assessor, Shuntrice brings additional expertise in risk, parental, substance abuse, and trauma assessments, strengthening her ability to support clients through complex and high-stakes situations. As a CPR and First Aid Instructor, she's also skilled at staying calm and responsive in crisis moments, always with client safety and well-being at the center of her care.
Shuntrice earned her Master's in Counseling and Psychology from Troy University. She strives to create a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered. She is passionate about building strong rapport with clients, helping them develop confidence, build practical coping skills, access helpful resources, and gain the confidence they need to navigate life's challenges.
Outside of therapy sessions, Shuntrice enjoys traveling, reading to sharpen her clinical skills, exploring art and creative expression, and spending time with family. She believes strongly in work-life balance and encourages the clients she works with to find the same sense of joy, purpose, and meaning in their own lives.
