Supervised by Gloria Martin LMFT-S, LPC-S
Maegan works hard to create a safe, empathic, authentic, and open environment for her clients. She believes she can best help clients by listening to their story and being a fellow traveler in their lives. Maegan has recently earned her Master of Science in Counseling from Southern Methodist University. She has found a passion for working with a great array of individuals but particularly enjoys working with families, couples, the LGBTQ+ community, and sex therapy. However, she finds the best work she does is simply when she and a client can really connect. She believes that her clients are the experts on their lives and by remaining present, they can grow and change together.
Maegan has spent most of her life in the DFW area. She is the oldest of five and feels this has shaped her in many ways. Growing up a dancer, Maegan has seen many difficult situations in the dance studio that developed her desire to help people, especially those families.
When Maegan is not at Lifeologie, you can find her still teaching dance, choreographing, spending time with her puppy, Kristoff, and consuming a lot of coffee. She also loves spending any free time with her husband and family.
