Get to know Fadrica
Fadrica Monestime is a therapist intern who is passionate about supporting adolescents and young adults at Lifeologie Counseling Dallas Uptown as they navigate some of life’s most challenging transitions. She approaches therapy from a compassionate, client-centered perspective, creating a safe and nonjudgmental space where individuals feel heard, supported, and empowered.
Fadrica believes that therapy is a collaborative process and works alongside clients to develop healthy coping strategies, increase self-awareness, and foster emotional growth. Her clinical interests include addiction, anxiety, stress-management, self-esteem, and life transitions, with a particular focus on helping clients build resilience and a stronger sense of self.
With adolescents and young adults, Fadrica is especially attentive to the unique pressures related to identity development, academic and social stress, and emerging independence. She strives to help clients better understand their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors while building confidence and practical skills to manage stress and anxiety.
As a therapist intern, Fadrica is committed to ongoing learning and professional development, integrating evidence-based practices under supervision to provide ethical and effective care. She values authenticity, empathy, and cultural sensitivity, and aim to support clients as they move toward greater balance, self-acceptance, and well-being.
Fadrica is originally from Miami, Florida where she earned her Bachelor’s in Psychology from Florida International University. She is currently pursuing her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at East Texas A&M University. She is a member of the American Counseling Association and Chi Sigma Iota Counseling Honor Society.
In her free time, Fadrica enjoys reading, building botanical LEGO sets, watching and attending wrestling shows, dot coloring, and spending time with her family.
