Are you tired of not being present in your everyday life? Many things block us from the present moment, such as “doomscrolling,” negative self-talk, unresolved trauma, and overall anxiety. Felipe Flores is passionate about creating the changes that will make your everyday life a more enjoyable experience. He offers sessions in English and Spanish for teens and adults of all ages. He has experience working with grief and the inability to “let go.” He also enjoys working with individuals dealing with anger, burnout, and lack of motivation.
Felipe comes from a Hispanic background and continues to work to remove the stigma surrounding therapy in the Latino community. He understands the unspoken pressures and challenges that come with growing up with immigrant parents. He has experience working with men from the Latino community, especially those who find it highly difficult to open up.
This is a career change for Felipe, so he knows the negative feelings and issues attached to not knowing what you want to do with your life. He loves helping people navigate those difficult life phases where one truly feels lost and aimless. He understands the difficulties of seeking a healthy life balance and finding time for the stuff that matters.
Felipe integrates tools into his work from various approaches, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Gestalt Therapy, and Existential Therapy. He is currently completing his Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at The University of North Texas at Dallas.
