Therapist Jayla Jackson is passionate about supporting children, adolescents, and young adults as they navigate life’s challenges and discover tools to thrive. Using a compassionate CBT approach, she helps clients build healthier thought patterns, strengthen emotional well-being, and foster personal growth at Lifeologie Counseling Midlothian, where she is expanding her expertise in play therapy, stress management, women’s issues, and career-related concerns.

Jayla takes a collaborative approach to therapy, using CBT alongside mindfulness and creative techniques to support growth and healing. She is passionate about helping clients focus on the present, better understand their thoughts and emotions, and build healthy coping skills that create lasting positive change for the future.

As a first-generation clinician, she is passionate about creating a supportive and empowering space where clients feel seen, heard, and encouraged in their personal growth. While earning her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Texas Woman’s University, she worked closely with the Career Connections Center, deepening her interest in career development, identity exploration, and helping individuals build confidence in their future paths. She is currently pursuing her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at the University of North Texas at Dallas.

Outside of the therapy space, she works as a substitute teacher and Youth Empowerment Coordinator, strengthening her passion for supporting, empowering, advocating, and connecting with youth in meaningful ways. She is also deeply creative at heart and enjoys everything from organizing and event planning to content creation and bringing ideas to life through creative expression and art. She values self-care and mindfulness as essential parts of daily living and personal growth. Whether she’s creating, planning, or connecting with others, she brings authenticity, positivity, and a focus on making spaces feel welcoming and inspiring.
