Whether you’re struggling with inner conflict or anxiety or working through issues with a spouse, significant other, family member, or friend, Jena is a specialist in conflict resolution and helping others navigate even the most difficult situations. In addition to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Jena offers Solution-Focused Therapy, so you can leave her office with a clear plan and practical tools!

Jena deeply believes in the power of healing and transformation. She wants to hear your story, help you reframe those negative thoughts, and guide you toward a healthier mindset – free of anxiety and depression. Through her supportive, compassionate approach, she helps clients find joy and peace again.

Jena has always had a passion for listening. Growing up, she made it a point to stop and hear people’s stories and offer encouragement wherever she went. This natural inclination to support others followed her to Baylor University where she graduated magna cum laude with a double major in English and Journalism. She has worked for over two decades with children from 6th grade through college, including at a public school, private Christian school and an alternative school for at-risk youth. Along the way, Jena mentored and counseled students as their teacher, but as the years passed, she felt a calling to go deeper into the counseling field. That led her to earn her Master’s in School Counseling from Dallas Baptist University and become a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). For the past 8 years, Jena has served as the Director of Wellness Counseling and Upper School Counselor at Legacy Christian Academy in Frisco, Texas. In this role, she works with both adolescents and adults to help them navigate a wide variety of challenges.

Jena’s practice is grounded in a judgment-free, open, and approachable atmosphere where clients can be transparent and feel supported. Through her own personal experiences, Jena has encountered many of the same challenges her clients face. She understands that we are not defined by our worst moments and believes that anyone can find healing and a brighter day tomorrow – no matter what they've faced.  Jena will walk alongside you in your journey, offering new ways of thinking and compassionate care to help you find peace. Don’t lose hope – there is a path to a fuller, more joyful life!

  • Jena discovered creative writing at an early age and feels at home creating poetry, short stories, and novels.
