Get to know Kim

Kim is an experienced therapist on a mission.  She’s committed to helping support and empower individuals to embrace their authenticity and achieve fulfillment and happiness. Her compassion and approachability are evident, and she is always open and willing to assist others in gaining the tools, resources, and courage needed to make positive change. Kim has a deep appreciation for the struggles we all face throughout life and is a staunch advocate for equality, individuality, youth, and young adults. 

Kim’s background and depth in social work have given her the insights to address a variety of needs across diverse individuals and populations. She is solution-focused and incorporates training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-informed Therapy, Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) as well as personal experience through exercise to assist others in achieving change in ways that are lasting and impactful.  She is passionate about and specializes in youth experiencing substance use, depression, anxiety, ADHD, social pressures/performance, school and social environment concerns, anger, and family conflict.  

Kim is a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) in the state of Arizona with more than 15 years of experience.  She graduated from Arizona State University with her master’s in social work and obtained her license in 2011. Past experience includes working with juvenile probation, hospice, outpatient mental health clinics, and hospitals.

In her free time, Kim enjoys spending time with her children and attending their sporting and other activities and events. She also exercises regularly to maintain her own mental health and overall well-being.
